Acrylic Barware Continued...

I found acrylic barware already in use at Rokbar. Tommy Lee owns the club and it is one of the most fun places in South Beach. I met a nice guy there and he ordered me the first apple martini that I’ve ever had.

I really liked the apple martini. The acrylic barware looked really nice with this drink. The drink had a green hue that was illuminated and looked really exciting.

I wish that I had been able to sell them acrylic barware, but my competitor beat me to it. I saw about five different people drop glasses while I was there and not one bit of the sound of broken glass. The fact that the glasses are unbreakable is really good for the club.

Acrylic barware is perfect for loud and busy clubs. I could barely hear my new found friend tell me what exactly was in my apple martini. I think he told me that it is a vodka martini with apple schnapps. I may have had this drink before in New York and it was called an apple cosmopolitan.

My time selling acrylic barware has let me try so many new drinks. I have found that I am very partial to a dirty martini. I have always liked olives and having at least a teaspoon of the brine from the olive jar added to my martini makes it delicious.

When I go into a bar, restaurant or club to sell acrylic barware, I usually order the dirty martini, President Roosevelt’s favorite. I only do this if I am drinking alone. If there is anyone else with me or if I meet someone new, I try something different.

I was surprised to fiind that I liked naked martinis while I was in Mango’s Tropical Café on Ocean Drive. I didn’t know that martinis could be made this way. The bartender chills the acrylic barware and doesn’t use ice.

I absolutely hated the sweet martini that was served to me in acrylic barware at Tantra in Miami Beach. It was too sweet for me to enjoy it at all. A sweet martini is made with sweet red vermouth and is garnished with a maraschino cherry.

There were other things at Tantra that were fantastic. I was there to sell acrylic barware and decided that I would have a nice Thai meal as well. I had a lobster soup that was made with coconut milk. chanterelle mushrooms and cilantro. It was delicious.

The manager of the Tantra bought some of my acrylic barware. He told me that he is tired of sweeping up broken glass in his bar. He knew that I was unfamiliar with Thai food and recommended the Ginger Kissed Salmon.

The Ginger Kissed Salmon is sautéed chilean salmon on gingered black thai rice with a vegetable blend of boc choy, shitake mushrooms, sweet bell peppers and a soy sake glaze. This was the tastiest sale of acrylic barware that I have ever made. I will return to Tantra again and again.
